Initially an opal mining, cutting and international export company based in the world famous outback opal mining town of Lightning Ridge, for the past 35 years we have also operated a retail store in Coffs Harbour, NSW.

Now located at the iconic Big Banana, The Opal Centre has evolved to not only offer the biggest range of opal jewellery on the NSW North Coast, plus beautiful ethically sourced natural Australian opals. We also have a huge selection of geological wonders including crystals, gemstones, minerals and rocks, fossils and rare specimens, unique gemstone jewellery - plus so much more!
